Becky's Block


Here is Becky's Block. I have stitched a birdbath in bullion stitch with a couple of blackbirds dropping in for a drink. On the seam I used feather stitch in a Colour Streams silk "Venetian Sunset", wonderful yellows, oranges, reds and purples, and crawling across the stitching is an orange ladybeetle bead. Just perfect for this block!!! Hope you like what I have done Becky!

I can't wait to see the entire block....That "Venetian sunset" thread certainly ties the colour of the various patches together;and aren't those blackbirds cute!
