Margaret's Blocks



On block one, I embroidered some wisteria using Edmar variegated Lola and 6-10 wrap bullions for the flowers. The stems were woven chain and the leaves lazy-daisies using DMC thread. Then using SRE and ribbon stitch, I stitched some climbing briar roses ( adapted from a design of Helen Dafter's)
On the second block, I attached a small beaded butterfly motif.

How beautiful. I hope to learn the language someday, but at least I can enjoy the picture now. =)
