Pinup's block with BDE lily

Maureen, I love that deep red of the lily, what stitch did you use for the flower petals? I hope Pinup has had a chance to look at her block - if not she will be in for a big surprise when she does get back from holidays.

I used Edmar's Lola thread and and a doll needle(I've lost my "special" darning needle,and did a double cast on stitch.
If you like, I'll add diagrams to the Blog tomorrow to show what I mean....no time tonight!
