This is how Helen's block looked before it left for the PostOffice and then on to Dianne. There's SRE,BDE, beads and glass butterflies to tie in with Hope's butterfly seam treatment.

Maureen, Helen's block looks really great, can't wait to see what the others do with it. This is such fun, having a peek at how each person has chosen to embellish the different blocks.
BDE: Brazilian Dimensional Embroidery, using Rayon threads made by the Edmar(USA) company. The threads are in 5 or 6 different weights/textures from a very fine (Glory) which is similar to one strand of DMC,to Lola(about similar thickness to a heavy crochet pearl thread) or a Boucle, which is a zigzaggy thread that you couch down rather than sew/embroider with.
LOTS of bullion stitches and cast on stitches.
Will I keep going,or do a "post" on BDE??

Give me a couple of days, and I'll put "something" up!

Jacqui you will have to give BDE a go. I have just started 'playing' around with the threads and they are beautiful to work with. I love bullion work and quite a lot of BDE can be done using larger bullions, so starting with that was how I went, then moved into detached buttonhole, which I was also pleased with. Will have to do some more practice and maybe I will do some on one of the blocks that is coming my way.
