This is Hope's block for the RR.As you can see,she has already started embellishing her block on the Egyptian print patch,where she has added Papyrus flowers in DMC Pearl thread,Along the seam line she added Cretan stitch in DMC rayon and loops of seed beading in blue and gold beads.

The centre one, and the embellished piece are cottons as is the small red piece to the left of centre,some are satins, Thai silk, dupion silk,stretch velvet and a metallic organza, and I think one is a crepe backed satin, most of the colours tone in with the centre piece (more or less) :)
