Starting to embellish three hearts for Chain of Hearts group! http://au.groups.yahoo.com/group/ChainsofHearts/
It's been a while since I tackled any for swapping with this group,so I thought I'd better prove I'm doing "something".
As I said last night on the CoH message board----Sandie gets first dibs if she's interested.


The first heart features some thread lace made with Solvy.
The second and third hearts have faces added for extra texture and interest.
And yes,more embellishing will occur!

I've taken a little break from hearts to make this tobacco pouch for my best friend. It's a birthday gift. I tried a few new stitches and combinations on this piece, and I'm really happy with the way it's turned out. It's not finished yet, so watch this space.

Look what I got in the post this morning :)My block made it home! I am very pleased with it all and it was a thrill to open it and find this lovely thing inside.

i am full of cold so i am not stopping too long but I will be doing a proper recap of who did what - hopefully tomorrow if i am feeling better. I just wanted to say 'thank you' I am absolutely delighted XXXXX

I've also had a few requests for bags, so I guess I'll have to get the sewing machine out sometime and get to making.

As some of you are just venturing into more fabric manipulation,I thought you might like to see what happened when Di planned one thing and another resulted!
